Was you child just identified for REACH services?  Not sure what this means or how to support your child?  The REACH PTA is a parent group dedicated to supporting gifted and talented programs in District 205 and encouraging higher level educational opportunities for ALL District 205 students.  Our area of focus includes:

  • Providing parent resources for gifted and advanced learners
  • Organizing advocacy at local and national levels
  • Sponsoring and/or promoting academic-based extra-curricular activities that are accessible to all students
  • Collaborating with REACH teachers to provide additional resources and student opportunities.

SERG is a PTA organization unique to District 205 supporting children with special needs. This includes students identified with a disability AND those that may be struggling on some level and may need extra support. SERG is a resource, network, and support group which:


  • Sponsors informative programs for parents and educators on a variety of topics related to Special Education

  • Provides educational resources to parents and educators

  • Networks parents with similar Special Education interests

  • Work with PTA to make events accessible to all students
